This map is made to look like a forest with a few tree houses, old wooden bridges, and hollow trees/logs. Here are some notes you will need about the lighting:
You can do many different things with the lighting in this level. It's cool to try and tone the lighting so that it gets darker as you down in levels. However sometimes that doesen't look right, so it is probably better to just pick one light, maybe two.
You have a couple of options on how you want this map to look.
First: Use the Second to brightest green (From White, go down 4 and right 1) in all of the forest area on all of the floors. Give it an Overcast or Gloomy Sky with Rain as the weather. Also, make the inside of the trees and logs a lightish brown, so to match the green light outside. This will give your forest a cold rainy morning feel. (Recommended)
Second: Change the Forest Lights to the 4th or 5th Darkest Green, and you can experiment with changing the tones on floors 2,3 and 4,5. Have Rain as the weather and use Abstract as the sky. Use medium to Dark brown lighting in the logs and trees. This will give your forest a dark and dreary stormy day mood.
Third: Change the forest lights to a very dark green, and make all of the tree's and logs a medium dark/ dark brown. Have the weather be rain or Storm (Depending on how you want the map to feel.) and make the sky either Abstract or Cold Night Sky. This gives your forest a Dark Stormy Night Feel.
Feel Free to try many other things with the lighting!
If you yourself are going to make a map with a forest, please credit me in doing so!
Also, If you do not like the design of my map, I am going to make another Forest Map soon that will hopefully be more action packed and exciting.
Also, the 24 Barricades that you see on the 2nd floor are meant to represent small trees. Gaps and weird designs are also meant to represent trees.
Now, here are the tiles that you should color brown:
Floor 5: The two #19 tiles that hold the vintage rifle. (Weapon #5)
Floor 4: The two #22 ramps, and the four #19 tiles that hold the K-SMG's (Weapon #2)
Floor 3: The two #22 tiles leading up to floor 4, The #7, and #9 tiles that connect with the #22 ramps. Also, the 7 #1 tiles that hold a Start Location, Explosive Barrell, and Armor Hi.
Floor 2: The 4 #27 tiles that hold a Start location, weapon 1 placement, Red Team Start, and Red team Bag. You can make the other one tile alcoves logs if you want too. Also, the 2 #19 tiles that hold the Cloak Powerup. Also, the 2 #18 Tiles that connect the regular forest to the Dark Forest.
Floor 1: No Tree's or Log's, but make the two deathr ooms the darkest green possible.
OTHER NOTES: The area with the two #18 tiles, the three #31 tiles, the #16 deathpit, and the two #19 tiles is known as the Dark Forest Area. The lighting here should always be the darkest Green you can get, and the Darkest Brown you can get.(When doing the lighting for the Trees and Logs.)
Well, i think that that covers pretty much everything. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Enjoy!!!
